Why Don'tTrustMRR exists.

The startup ecosystem has a transparency problem: too much of it. Founders plug Stripe into directories, hand over real revenue, and let strangers judge them on numbers that took years to grow. We thought: what if we did the opposite?

DontTrustMRR is a database of unverified startup metrics. You type a number. We render a chart. Nothing is checked, ever. Not by us, not by an API, not by anyone's common sense.

The site is a parody, but the publish flow is real: pick a vibe, roll the dice, claim a slug, get a sharable URL with a chart and a 0/100 Trust Score. That's the joke. You can use it to flex on Twitter. You can use it to remind a friend that screenshots prove nothing.

Verification is optional

Other sites ask for receipts. We ask for your imagination. The metrics on this site are user-submitted and never cross-checked. That's the product.

Vibes over evidence

If a founder feels like a $1M ARR business, who are we to say otherwise? Our job is to render the chart. Whether reality cooperates is between them and their auditor (they don't have one).

Nothing is endorsed

Don't invest. Don't quote these numbers in a board meeting. Don't even cite us. If you do, screenshot the disclaimer first so we can all share the blame.

The badge is the joke

Yes, the green checkmark says 'NOT verified'. Yes, that's confusing. Yes, that's the whole bit.
